MISSION: Northern Indiana Technology Leaders will work together through the completion of cybersecurity requirements or suggestions demanded by school liability insurance by utilizing resources provided by the Purdue Cybersecurity Taskforce.

TARGET PARTICIPANTS are those who are responsible for ensuring their district meets cybersecurity requirements set forth by insurance companies, school board policies, state or federal mandates. Target participants are, but not excluded to:

Tech Directors
Network Administrators
School Administrators

A LEADERSHIP TEAM has been developed to guide the agenda, provide documentation, and facilitate discussion surrounding cybersecurity. Leadership Team Members:

CURRENT TIMELINE

Participate in monthly meetings where pre-assigned documents and templates are assigned for you to complete on behalf of your school district. Over time, each district participating will hope to have all documentation in place, plans for software/hardware requirements implementation, and resources available to decrease cybersecurity threats to their district.

December 2021: Complete the Participation Form, Receive a Copy of the first template assignment
Tues, Jan 18th, 2022 11am EST / 10am CST: discuss template and topic of the month, receive a copy of February Template
February 2022: an optional discussion meeting if you have questions regarding the template
February 2022: Monthly meeting reviewing the completed 2nd form
Continue the above pattern throughout the year
(Each month will have 1 optional meeting and 1 required meeting)
