Data Training

The IDOE has produced TWO new resources that allow schools to use ILEARN-related data.  One is the Standards in Essential Need of Support(SENS), which focuses on specific standards.  The other is the Academic Impact Study, which looks at each individual student who started taking ILEARN in 2019 and subgroups. Both are valuable, but the time to dig in is limited. If you are looking for training and resources, join us on October 19 from 9:30 - 11:00 EST.

Dyslexia Support
On September 26 Mary Williams and Aly Traficante shared a very informative session on Dyslexia. Please pass this along to your reading specialists in case they weren't able to attend our networking.

Adam McMickle (IDOE) will lead a discussion around the new Civics standards and updated 7th and 8th-grade social studies standards to assist schools in planning for implementation for the 2023-24 school year. This session geared for school leaders will assist in your planning for implementation. NOTE: Full-day sessions geared toward instructors and focused on curriculum planning and alignment will be scheduled for spring 2023.

Indiana High Ability Network

The October focus for the Indiana High Ability Network is Identification and Support for Twice Exceptional Learners with Mary Ruth Coleman on October 12 from 3:00 - 4:30 EST.

NEW! District Admin Feature @www.INLearningLab.com
The INLearningLab has added the opportunity for school districts to utilize the Learning Lab's District Admin features. Send notifications to teachers, create private resources and collections, and run reports to track resource completion. If you are a leader in your school district, explore the following resources to learn more about how you can begin using this feature

New Science Standards

Have you had the opportunity to dig into the new science standards? Are you able to explain the 3D science standards? Are you familiar with Performance Expectations in the new standards? Do you need resources to support the work? Chances are you have been overwhelmed and have this work on your long to-do list, but the many hats you wear keep you too busy.
