Green Career Survey, Kyrgyzstan Climate Education Project
Dear Participant in the November Bishkek Conference: 

As part of the KCEN project we are interested in learning about student interest and awareness of Green Careers. Please respond to the questions below, and your name will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate from the Raritet Book Store http://books.kg/We are seeking responses from University and Secondary School students as well as recent graduates.

Here are some definitions. 

"Green"  means better for the environment, either less polluting or using less natural resources. A Green Job means working for the division or part of a private company, NGO or government agency that:

1. Produces Green Products and Services. Examples: Companies that install or produce solar panels or wind energy turbines; a government agency that works to protect wildlife; an NGO that works to reduce air pollution.  

OR

2. Uses Green Processes in producing Products and Services.  Examples:  The team implementing water-saving technologies at a business; a farmer who uses less pesticides; the recycling head at a hospital. 

This survey data is being collected by the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College, and your individual answers will remain strictly anonymous to the public. Summary information from the survey will be made available in a short report, but no indiviudal data will be released. The survey data will be stored on a Bard GPS google drive.  The deadline is February 15, 2023.
