2023 FREE Virtual Vendor Fair
April 27th, All Day Virtual Event
Do you have purchasing responsibilities in your district but aren't sure where to turn for best pricing on products and services? Join us for our first ever Virtual Vendor Fair on April 27th where we explain purchasing procedures and bring you short vendor presentations in the following:
  • Office Supplies
  • Technology Hardware/Software/Services
  • Classroom Supplies  & Furniture
  • Curriculum Materials & Software
  • Buildings/Grounds/Maintenance
  • Finance / HR

The morning will start off with a glance at purchasing procedures and ESC discount opportunities.  Then we will move into sessions by categories where vendors will have 5 minutes to present their products & service before we move onto the next vendor....just like speed dating!

Many of them will end their time with drawings & prizes

Summer Self-Paced Course

This course is designed for teachers, staff and administrators that missed out on Google Apps training and have been "just getting by" with what they know.   A self-paced course allows participants to learn on their own schedule with materials organized in a 6 week structure, but could be done all in a single day!
 
The summer course starts June 5th with the release of materials to work through each week but is also structured to
work at your own pace throughout the entire summer.

Portable Planetarium Training

Practice setting up a portable dome & projection system and learn how to use a full-featured planetarium at your fingertips. This day will be a hands-on experience to prepare participants for the use of the equipment back in their own district.

Google Admin Console Certification Training by: Amplified IT

Level 1: Amplified Google Admin Certified Bootcamp
Thursday, June 22, 2023

Join Amplified IT for the Live, 1 day comprehensive training that will guide your IT staff through educational best practices and Google Admin console skills and techniques. The bootcamp includes a series of training lessons, real-world education examples, and knowledge checks to prepare attendees for life as a school G Suite administrator. A brief test will be given at the end of the course to assess your new found skills.
 

Level 2: Amplified Google Admin Certified Bootcamp

The Amplified Admin Level 2 Certification training is an advanced-level Google Admin course and requires an LEVEL 1 certification to validate fundamental knowledge of the Google Admin environment. This course will build on the basics learned in Level 1 to address more complex settings, topics and advance best practices as it applies to education.
 
This certification has recently been changed and no longer requires 2 year refreshers.

NEW: 2023 Summer of Learning Conferences: IDOE’s Summer of Learning Conferences offer educators opportunities to connect with technology-enhanced pedagogy related to supporting specialized populations, the science of reading, integrated STEM, designing virtual and blended learning experiences, community connection and support, and more. NEW: Tips from the Field - Digital Learning Leadership Cadre Sessions: Join classroom teachers as they share tips for intentionally preparing your digital environment. During the first phase of this series, hosted by the Digital Learning Leadership Cadre, panelists will explain their rationale for course navigation in blended in-person instruction, asynchronous instruction, and synchronous instruction. The first session, focusing on blended in-person instruction, will be held Thursday, March 30, at 4 p.m. ET. Register here

Digital Learning Coach Grant Application Now Open: Applications for the 2023-2024 Digital Learning Coach Grant are now open. This grant supports the professional development of individuals who spend at least half of their contracted time in a digital learning coaching role. The grant application window will be open until 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 26. See this memo for additional information and join the grant information session on Wednesday, April 12, at noon ET to learn more. 

Student Academic Record Collection Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Resource: Changes implemented for reporting course enrollments (student academic record replacing course completion collection) and outcomes will impact all schools that report course level data to IDOE. These updates are occurring to improve the completeness of academic records for each student and to support metrics on the Indiana Graduates Prepared to Succeed dashboard and to monitor Graduation Pathways progress.
