Survey #1: Community Feedback Survey about Mental Health and Substance Use Services in Mississippi
This survey is from the Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the Mississippi Behavioral Health Planning and Advisory Council. They want to know how you think DMH should use money from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to help adults and children with mental illness and substance use disorders live in the community.
Anyone can take this survey. We especially encourage people with mental illnesses or substance use disorders and their families to take it. You know better than anyone what has and hasn’t helped you and what might help you in the future. THIS SURVEY CLOSES ON APRIL 30, 2023.
Survey #2: Community of Practice Surveys about Mississippi Public Education for Youth and Adults
Late last year, 25 individuals and organizations formed a statewide Community of Practice to focus on practical ways of enabling greater access, opportunity, and thriving for every student. They believe this includes raising expectations for all students and youth, ensuring they have needed resources and support, and helping them reach their full potential. The group seeks to prioritize the needs of people and communities that are not currently as well-served as others and to build on the strengths already in these places.
