Peer Support in Re-Entry

The Mental Health Association of South MS is pleased to offer this training for Peer Support Specialists.
Speaker: Keith Windsor
Description: The role of the Peer Support Specialist in Re-entry from jails, prisons, and hospitals will be discussed. Session will also address overcoming barriers and recognizing the unique value of Peer Support Specialists with prior justice involvement.
Continuing Education hours are available for the following credentials:
DMH Certified Peer Support Specialist, DMH Addictions Therapist, DMH Community Support Specialist, DMH Mental Health Therapist, Licensed DMH Administrator and DMH IDD Therapist. If your credential is not listed, an Attendance Certificate can be provided upon request.
